Anne Vroegop is Senior Experience Designer and is continue doing research on new technologies, trends, engagement and human behavior in specific enviroments. She finds new ways to explore User Experience field and analyses it and has spent her entire career working on amazing gamified products. The products are not designs for a specific medium, but designs for the user experience and his medium, which can be anything like an installation, app, site or game. She is trying to move beyond media, in multi channel experinces. Since 2014 Anne is founder of the UX Academy; an expertise/eduction centre for UX in the Netherlands en Belgium.
Her expertise on web gamification is known in creative agencies worldwide. Like a child she is looking at the world, want to make more fun and add game principles to things that are unusual. Life is a game to play. Her creativity comes from her senses, she likes to feel, smell, touch and taste things more then regual people do. She combines this gift with empathy and try to get into the minds of end users. What’s going on in their mind? Rethinking and feeling to come up with innovative solutions to engage them.
Anne studied Interaction Design at the Faculty Art, Media and Technology in Utrecht, The Netherlands (HKU). She passed her Bachelor degree and Master degree in 2005 and became Master of Arts at the Royal University London. From that moment peoples likes her work, worked with her and bought several projects. Prior to joining the gamification world she spent time as an interaction designer and developer in the cultural sector: a playground for innovation, doing user research and test applications.
