Rutger De Wilde

Rutger is a researcher and lecturer in the ICT department at Odisee University College (part of the KU Leuven Association), where he teaches web development with a sharp eye on the design side of the stack.

His research sits at the intersection of UX and AI: exploring how generative tools can genuinely serve designers rather than replace their judgment. He brings that same critical perspective to the workshop floor, helping practitioners move beyond the hype and build AI-assisted prototypes that still put users first.
